INOCHICON
Origins and Convention Days
The origins of Inochicon are unknown as well as the founders' names. On the days of the convention, which took place on August 27-29, 2010. Being held at a hotel, the convention was interestingly broken up on three floors: the first floor was registration, the second floor was the Dealers Room, and the third floor was the game room.
With the first floor, as mentioned, it was registration to which attendees were shuffled into the elevators around the corner from the check in table and up to the second or third floors.
With the second floor, the Dealers Room was the size of a ballroom. It was mixed with the Artist Alley, too. So both vendors and artists were in one space. The anime-related vendors who were there, were:
Anime Pavillion
Anime Sunrise
Cyberfox Falls
Mugen Toys
Gloucester County Anime Con
The convention hired the otaku-centric band, Leetstreet Boys, who performed on the third floor of the hotel.
Fate
The fate of the convention is unknown as none of the founders or staff have come forward to explain what happened to it.
According to the convention's website, they were going to return in 2011 but it never occured. To date, it will remain unknown why the convention faultered.
